What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
